The municipality of Rincón de la Victoria has been rethinking the indoor centre for Torre de Benagalbón, which has been delayed twice so far. Francisco Salado explained that by moving the project from Torre de Benagalbón to Parque Julian Huerta they can reduce the costs from five to three million Euros.
After discussions with leaders for the promotion of sports activities in Junta Andalucía they have sort a more viable and cost effective solution. The pool will now be in a more populous area and this will also re-vitalize the park area.

The top floor will consist of 370 metres of space for indoor activities as well as changing rooms and a catering facility. The outside will include eight paddle courts and a football field.
