Rincon de la Victoria presents the XI Paco Alonso Fresh Air Painting contest to be held on April 27 on the occasion of the XXXIV Benagalbon Cultural Week . The first prize is worth 1,500 euros, second 1,000 euros and the third 500. The contest president of honor of journalist ís Manuel Alcántara.
The XI Fresh Air Painting ‘Paco Alonso’ is for painters of all ages and nationalities. The works must adhere to the same landscapes, views, aspects and Benagalbón plastic interpretations, considering that the works should “manifest positively the youthful , innovative and contemporary spirit as expressed in the wish of the deceased painter Paco Alonso”, said the mayor, Francisco Salado .
During the presentation at the Malaga Provincial Council, the mayor, Francisco Salado, the Deputy of Culture, Marina Bravo, the Councilor of Culture, José Antonio Martín, and the jury chairman Eugenio Chicano, highlighted the recognition that this has acquired as it attracts painters of the province and the country. They also highlighted the importance of supporting cultural activities and the involvement of the residents who are the actual drive of the cultural week in Benagalbón.
The event will start at 10.00 in the morning on the streets, squares and around the town of Benagalbón. At three in the afternoon, participants will hand in the work done and signed at the Cultural Center Teleclub. The jury’s decision will be issued at 18.00 pm on the same day in the awards ceremony.
