As the city councillor of Social Services, Lola Aguilar, has announced, on Sunday 27th of April Rincon de la Victoria will hold a supportive Dance Festival in order to collect food for the’AsociaciónRincónContigo’.
The initiative, organised by the Sports and Social Services as well as the association ‘Anímate a Bailar´, arose due to World Dance Day. In the Rincon municipality, it will gather together around 600 boys and girls from schools in the Malaga province, among them, the Escuela Municipal de BailesDeportivos from Rincon de la Victoria.
Aguilar has said that ‘we hope to gather more than 2000 kilos of food that we will deliver to the group ‘Rincóncontigo’ destined to help the families within the municipality that are most in need.’ Entrance to the event will be exchanged for a kilo of food products.
The mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado, has demonstrated his satisfaction ‘with the organisation of supportive initiatives like this that take place and to which the citizens of the municipality respond to well. Our locality always throws itself into every supportive activity that is organised and this will be proof of that.’
The festival will embrace rhythmical gymnastics, modern dance and sports with children ranging from 3 years old up to those of an older age. All of the participants will be given a certificate for their collaboration in the charitable event. It will begin at 10.30 in the PabellónCubierto Municipal ‘Rubén Ruzafa´ in Torre de Benagalbón.
