Last week, those working for the ‘Parque Zoosanitario’ in Rincón de la Victoria recovered the second dead dolphin, this time on the Arroyo Pajarito beach, which, due to the rough easterly weather, had been washed onto shore.
In general, these sea mammals tend to die after being hit by boats, ending up washed ashore by rough weather. The municipality’s ‘zoosanitario’ centre says that between January and June they tend to find around 10 dead dolphins on the beaches of the locality.
