Resident of Rincón robbed of his 4000 euro watch from the porch of his own house

La voz de hoy has been informed that, at the beginning of September, a 66 year old man living in Rincón de la Victoria, in the ‘arroyo granadillas’ zone next to the sea, filed a report with the Guardia Civil about the robbery of a watch that seemed to have been taken from him by foreigners in the same car from which they were asking him questions.

It was 7 o’clock on a Monday evening when this resident of Rincón was sat quietly on the porch of his house. He heard someone calling him from a dark car stopped in front of the house. They asked him for directions so he got up and approached the vehicle to give them directions.

There were two men and a woman in the car, with Arabic features. From this moment, the man lost control of his actions and moments afterwards his wife found him sat back on the porch with a lifeless gaze. “We then realised that my watch had disappeared. A Sandoz watch valued at 4000 euros”, he says.

They went to file the report with the Guardia Civil where they were told that they weren’t the first people in the municipality that had come into the station for similar reasons. The resident had some analytical tests to find out if there were any substances left in his body, but these were negative.

Reports in Pedregalejo

On the 29th May, the newspaper ‘El diario SUR’ published some information in which they wrote about the report of a businessman who was supposedly drugged in the Pedregalejo zone in order to steal a watch worth 16,000 euros, without being conscious of what was happening.

Due to this, in June there was a message circulating on the social network ‘Whatsapp’ that alerted people of these types of robberies happening in the Malaga capital zone and in Rincón de la Victoria, as an ‘organised group’.
