The Diputacíon Provincial de Málaga has allocated 1.2million Euros to improve the roads to Macharaviaya which pass through Aṅoreta on the way to Benagalbón. Specifically the road for the A-7 motorway and the MA3201 to Macharaviaya and the intersection with Calle Estados Unidos, near the school. In addition there will be car parks stretching 1100m on the road with care taken to repair the pavements.
There will be reconditioning of the roads on MA106, also towards Macharaviaya and new pavements in Calle Mistral and on the MA3200, the access to Calle Padre Benito. The work is expected to be out to tender in early 2012 and it is estimated to take 9 months. Efforts will be made to avoid the school terms to reduce any disruptions.
