The environment councillor of Rincon’s town council has announced the installation of new equipment on the beaches within the municipality. This will cost a total of 150,210.61 euros and will be financed completely by grant from the ‘Mancomunidad de Municipios’ of the Costa del Sol Axarquia, according to the town councillor, SergioDíaz.
This will include three new circuit training parks for public use; one in the Calasol urbanisation zone in La Cala del Moral, another next to the tourist office in Rincon and another near the access point in Torre de Benagalbón.
As well, after the 15th June there are plans to begin the installation of 11 concrete walkways on La Cala del Moral and Rincon’s beaches as well as positioning 100 wooden walkways adapted for people with reduced mobility on the beaches of Torre de Benagalbón.
The councillor has also told us about two new toilets at the access point at the top of the Plaza Miguel Cerezo in Rincon and in the boatyard zone in La Cala del Moral. Three zip-lines have also been acquired for the Baluma zone in La Cala del Moral, another for the San Diego point in Rincon, and also for the La Marina beach zone in Torre de Benagalbón.
Not only this but there will also be two new shower units at the access points in Rincon and Torre de Benagalbón and a lifeguard hut at the access point at the top of the Plaza Miguel Cerezo in Rincón de la Victoria.
Finally, and as can be deduced from the last report published by the health councillor of the Junta de Andalucía, the quality of the bathing waters in the municipality of Rincón de la Victoria during 2014 were “excellent”, and the health standards of the water for this summer remain totally guaranteed, according to an analysis that has been carried out.
