An illegal boat carrying 25 immigrants was intercepted by the Guardia Civil very early last Saturday morning in theRincón de la Victoria zone. The Andalucian emergency service 112 informed that the boat was taken to Málaga’s port, and the 25 people on board, of Moroccan origin, were found in good health.
As specified by the 112, at about 00:30, the Guardia Civil reported that they had intercepted an illegal boat, through the ‘Sistema Integrado de Vigilancia Exterior’ (Integrated system of external vigilance) (SIVE), that was subsequently towed by a vessel by the ‘SalvamentoMarítimo’ (Maritime rescue), to the port of Málaga, where it arrived at around 3:00.
The source indicated to Europa Press, that the 25 occupants of the boat were adult men of Moroccan origin. They didn’t require to be transferred to health centres, but received attention from the ‘Cruz Roja’ (The Red Cross) on arrival to the port, where they were in a good state of health.
